How to use Physical SIM

3 in 1 SIM (Standard, Micro and Nano)

Insert the SIM card into your phone using the size that fits your SIM card tray. The card is compatible with any SIM-enabled device.

Safely set aside your original SIM card. If you are using a dual-SIM phone, make sure you're selecting the correct SIM card to avoid accidentally using your original card and incurring expensive data roaming charges.

This SIM card is typically ready to use upon insertion. If you are unable to connect to the internet, try the following steps:

> Restart your phone.

> Check if Airplane Mode is enabled — if so, turn it off.

> Enable Data Roaming. This SIM card includes unlimited data for 30 days, so you won't be charged extra. However, double-check that you're using the correct SIM to avoid unexpected charges on your original card.

In most cases, once data roaming is enabled, you will see "4G" or "5G" at the top of your screen — this means you are connected and ready to go online.

If you are still not receiving a signal, you may need to reset the APN settings. When connected to Wi-Fi, visit iTalkBB.ca to chat with our online support, or use the iTalkBB Prime APP to call our 24/7 customer service hotline at 1-877-482-5503. We are here to help!

How to Activate eSIM?

Please ensure your device supports eSIM before purchasing. If your phone does not support eSIM, please do not proceed.

After purchasing an eSIM plan, you will receive an email with a QR code. While connected to the internet, follow the instructions in the email. Open the device settings, select "Add eSIM," and scan the QR code to complete the activation.

You may activate the eSIM before departure. The 30-day usage period will begin only after the eSIM connects to a network at your destination.

Q: Is the 'Travel Data SIM' only available for iTalkBB customers?
A: The 'Travel Data SIM' is available to everyone, whether or not you are an iTalkBB customer. However, iTalkBB Prime app, home phone, Chinese TV, and smart security customers can enjoy a waiver of the $19.99 connection fee.
Q. Can the 'Data SIM Card' be used with any type of phone?
A: As long as your device supports a Nano SIM, you can use the 'Data SIM Card'.
Q. Does the 'Data SIM Card' provide voice and text messaging services?
A. No, the 'Data SIM Card' only provides data roaming services. If you need to use voice and text messaging services, you can use them in conjunction with the iTalkBB Prime APP.
Q. Do I need to activate the 'Data SIM Card' before use?
A. Simply insert the card into any compatible device, and you can connect to the local network. If you cannot connect to the network, please try the following settings.
Q. How much data is included in the 'Data SIM Card'?
A. Other than 'Data SIM Card', all Data SIM provides unlimited data, but when the accumulated roaming data usage reaches the fair usage data usage limit of 5/10GB applicable to the user, the internet speed will be reduced to a maximum of 128kbps. However, you can still continue to use data services.
Q. If the high-speed data of the 'Data SIM Card' is used up, can I purchase additional data?
A: The 'Data SIM Card' does not currently provide recharge services.

Q. How do I use the 'Data SIM Card' with the iTalkBB Prime App?
A: After applying for the service, search for 'iTalkBB Prime' in the App Store/Google Play and download the iTalkBB Prime APP. After successfully logging in, as long as you are connected to the network, you can make and receive calls to Canadian phones globally (with an additional 300 minutes of international calls to 29 countries/regions, including China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan). Additionally, you can use the call forwarding function to forward your Canadian phone number to the iTalkBB Prime APP phone number, so you can avoid high roaming fees and will not miss any important calls.

This iTalkBB branch is by far the best telecom service provider I've dealt with… The travel data sim worked perfectly fine, I used it in Japan, Taiwan, and HongKong with no issues with speed or connections. I was also interested in home security cameras, and a representative explained the product to me thoroughly with details and even showed me footage quality from her own phone. Strongly recommend iTalkBB if you are looking for products they offer.

The customer service representative had been very helpful and she provided me with all information that I needed to know. I received the Asia Data SIM card within five days. I inserted the sim card upon arriving Japan and Japan become the home town for this sim card. We got data in no time and we did not experience any interruption in Tokyo or Nikko at all. We needed to turn on roaming service with this sim card inserted when we flied to Singapore and HongKong later. Still, we did not have any interruption and the connection was fast and clear. 10 GB data was enough for our three weeks trip. Thanks to iTalkeBB ! :)

I traveled to Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore for a month. I used italkBB 'Southeast Asia Data Card' which was very convenient. I bought three SIM cards for my family and children to use. When I arrive in another country, the phone will automatically switch to the local network. No need to buy SIM cards from different countries. The network is very good. For me, 10GB of data is enough, I only use Google Maps to find tourist attractions and use WhatsApp to contact family and children. It's really a SIM Card that can be used in Southeast Asia!
